Abstract
Objective: To study the outcomes and complications of DMEK corneal transplantation in eyes with prior LASIK or radial keratotomy (RK).

Abstract
Objective: To study the relationship between thyroid gland dysfunction (TGD) and keratoconus in 200 eyes from thyroid dysfunction patients versus 200 control eyes.
Results:Keratoconus appeared in 7.5% of the TGD group compared to 0.5% in the control group (P<0.0001). 93% of keratoconus cases in the TGD group were accompanied by hyperthyroidism. The TGD group also showed marked corneal thinning, elevated Kmax values, and increased back elevation values.
Conclusion: Thyroid gland dysfunction is associated with a corneal deformation pattern resembling subclinical keratoconus, warranting corneal screening for thyroid dysfunction patients, especially those with hyperthyroidism.
